Giving

Today was an awesome day. Myself & other managers volunteered our time today to Ronald McDonald house. We prepared dinner for 17 families that are staying here due to the illness of their child. The simple things in life we take for granted could make life changing moments in others lives. You never know what a person is going through based on appearance. You never know what a person is dealing with because of their lifestyle. To reach out & touch someone's life & make things just a little bit easier is one of the best gifts you could ever give, its priceless. Theses families are at the hospital all day visiting sick children. The house basically set up as a hotel because some families come all around the USA even India. The most comforting thing is for them to come after a long day to a hot home cooked meal. The families were so thankful for us being there today. To see them smile & know you made their hectic life just a little easier today is an great feeling. I'm so glad I spent this time today cooking & cleaning for someone going through a hardship they have no control of. They need more people & businesses to sponsor any of the 3 daily meals its just something to think about the next time your heart feels the need to give. The recognition doesn't ever get overlooked KMK productions today was blessed by a $300 donation from DTLR to help buy food for 1000shoes for 1000kids Saturday Aug 28th at Jumpin Jellybeans. I started this event out as a solo project but the love & blessings I've been receiving from everyone is sumtain I'd never imagine would happen. I went into this thinking while the kids are getting free shoes they will be in a long line waiting & restless. Kids calm down with food & water. So why not feed them with all the support I've been getting this non-profit event will be such a success & its because of everyone who has been giving for this event & its still not to late. I thank everyone for your support.
